Step 1: Prepare the Application Documents

Freshman Application 

If you are interested in enrolling in Fei Tian’s undergraduate programs, please submit the following application documents:

• • Completed and signed Freshman Application Form 
  • High school Transcripts Request Form
  • SAT/ACT scores (SAT Code #7691, ACT Code #7993) 
  • Personal Statement in a one to two-page essay describing:
  • Your academic interest, ability and achievements
  • Why you wish to attend FTCM 
  • At least 2 reference letters, one must be from a counselor or a high school teacher.  
  • Copy of valid passport or proof of status (i.e. permanent residence, citizenship)
  • A nonrefundable application fee of $50.00 

Transfer Students Application

If you are qualified as a transfer student, please submit the following application documents by mail or email:

• • Completed and signed Transfer Student Application Form
  • College transcript 
  • High school transcript and SAT/ACT score (SAT Code #7691, ACT Code #7993) if you have completed less than 24 college course credits 
  • Personal Statement in a one to two-page essay describing:
  • Your academic interest, ability and achievements
  • Why you wish to attend FTCM 
  • At least 2 reference letters from your professors
  • Copy of valid passport or proof of status (i.e. permanent residence, citizenship) 
  • A non-refundable application fee of $50.00 

English Language Proficiency 

All applicants, except those in the categories below, must present proof of English language proficiency:

• • Applicants whose primary language is English and who have graduated from a high school that uses English as the language of instruction.
  • Applicants who have earned at least three-semester credits of freshman English composition at colleges or
    universities accredited by U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting agencies with a GPA of at least 2.5 (on a scale of 4.0).
  • Applicants who have studied for at least three years in a high school or college that uses English as the language of instruction.

English proficiency is preferably demonstrated through an official score on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), Code #C357. It may also be proven through performance on other tests and exams such as IELTS, SAT (Evidence-based Reading and Writing section), ACT, or a combination of LEXILE (reading) and ACCUPLACER (writing).
